Instruction is primarily delivered in a traditional classroom setting, with occasional hands-on lab sessions. We do not provide the 8,000 hours of on-the-job training required by the state. Students will need to secure that experience separately by working full-time under a licensed electrician.

About me and what I do and the experience I have
Moises Jimenez is a Massachusetts and New Hampshire Licensed Master Electrician and the founder of J&A Electrical Academy. With over 14 years of experience in the electrical industry, Moises has worked on residential, commercial, and code-compliant electrical installations throughout Massachusetts.
His experience includes service upgrades, panel installations, load calculations, grounding and bonding systems, commercial electrical work, and NEC code compliance. Through J&A Electrical Academy, Moises is committed to helping future electricians build a strong understanding of electrical theory, code application, and licensing preparation for success in the electrical trade.
